WFTV Channel 9 Weather App Reviews

I like this weather app, but not the alert system. I thought it was supposed to send alerts for my area. I only receive alerts for Orlando, which I dont need. I have my home as the default location. I would rate it higher if it wasnt for that.

Love channel 9 and the weather crew staff. But this app I dont like. Found it hard to navigate. The last straw for me was when I was checking it for the tropical depression Invest 99 heading our way. There was no update information. The video I watched was from Wednesday, today is Sunday. If I was looking in error, that would account for the navigation confusion of the app. I have deleted it.

Like the other apps from WFTV, they used to be of value. Then they started embedding ads everywhere. App loading is ridiculously slow due to all the ads. Try selecting an action in the app and it loads even more ads, almost like reading a Sunday paper advertisement flyer. Easier, faster and more accurate to use the national weather service, the national hurricane center and a weather radio. Those folks realize disseminating information is more important than generating revenue; WFTV only cares about profits.

App shuts down as soon as it opens, deleted it reinstalled and same result.

Let me be the first to say what a beautifully put together app this is....easy to navigate and the fact that you can watch live news is fantastic......I am sure Tom Terry had a hand in creating this app.....I have been a Tom fan since Hurricane Charley!! So I am giving Tom Terry 5 stars too!!! Well done to Tom and the rest of the innovation team!!

It used to work wonderfully but since I updated it the app crashes every time I try to open it.

Aside from the advertising on the bottom half of the screen the app is very well put together app. Great coverage from a great local television station

Easily the best Orlando weather app because these guys get it right!

Now all it does is freeze up at the opening screen and lock up my iPad....

This is a great app that is easy to use and has everything I need. Its simple, effective and I love the WFTV weather team!

I love how you can customize your locations! Very easy to use! This is a must have app for the ever changing Central Florida weather.

I like the live stream

I constantly use the Live Interactive Radar. My son rides his bike to and from work unless it is raining. I use the radar to know when he will need a ride. I also use it to know when I can let my neighbors dog in and out a couple of times a day while she is away at work. I dont want to leave that sweet baby out in the rain. I use most of the other functions as well and they all work seamlessly. I would highly recommend Channel 9 Weather App to any one. I dont know what I ever did without it!! CA
